The artist would like to acknowledge those who appear in Carl Walter’s photograph, as well as Joy Murphy Wandin and other descendants. He would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the original owners of the place where he lives and works. These acknowledgements involve an understanding that European invasion and dispossession are unresolved legally and morally.
