Marches for another season is an ongoing project of banner marches initiated in 2003. The project’s structure has developed alongside a process of collecting instances of the creation of national boundaries since 1901. This catalogue of boundaries, ordered by date, provides a mnemonic system for the banner marches. Each national boundary generates a line. This line provides a route for marching, so that each march traces a national boundary by its course through a given place. The process of marching and tracing is ongoing.
