Five banners painted in oil paint on unstretched linen were marched in a series of actions in Berlin in October 2002. Video images of the marches, looped into three separate DVDs, and the five banners, were exhibited at Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces.

The same material was used in Documents after five actions, a site specific installation in Berlin, at the Kapelle der Versöhnung, 8-22 November 2002.
Related material was also exhibited in the solo exhibition Fragments from an archive into five actions, West Space, Melbourne, 21 February - 8 March 2003, and, studio exhibition, Berlin, 16-23 November 2002.
The Berlin banner marches led to the development of Marches for another season, an ongoing project of banner marches in Australia initiated in 2003.
